Shipping Policies:

• We strive greatly to ship every order within 24 hours of receipt.  On occasion, it will happen that an item is out of stock or your order must be placed on backorder.  We will advise you immediately and offer you a choice: to cancel the order until a later date, go ahead and have us ship what is available and cancel the rest until a later time, etc.  We will always endeavor to keep items in stock as much as possible but at heavy times, such as Nativity and Pascha, it is not always possible.  We recommend that you order early in non seasonal times, as well as during feasts, etc.
• We ship United Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate to all 50 states in America.  You will note that our shipping charge has risen, but this is due to the larger sizes of our products, which require a medium flat rate box. If your order can be shipped in a less expensive manner/box, we will refund the difference immediately and let you know.

• We will also ship internationally but these orders must be done by e-mail and completed with American Express Traveler's Cheques (in US Dollars), received via post prior to shipping.  Contact us for details

BULK ORDERS FOR PARISHES, CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORES, ETC.

Terms:
Desert Fathers Incense (and formerly Black Powder Incense) have always been a missionary effort of Columbina, a spiritual "child" of Forerunner Books, an Orthodox Christian evangelical mission of the Serbian Orthodox Church in America.  As such, Columbina believes strongly in supporting parish bookstores, monastic gift shops, and other evangelical efforts with deep discounts. 

Wholesale to the Orthodox/Anglican/Catholic Christian Trade:

We do offer discounts on bulk orders for parishes, parish bookstores, and privately owned Orthodox businesses.  Clergy can also receive discounts but you must tell us if you are one. :) We have not achieved enough holiness and purity of heart to know if you are a priest or monastic, unless you let us know. Please do tell us - we want to honor the priests and monastics of the Faith and support them in their work by giving them deep discounts.   Please inquire about our discount schedule and a current price list.  Invoicing is available at Net 30.  Clergy discounts apply to the following:  Eastern Orthodox , Oriental Orthodox (Ethiopian, Coptic, Syrian, etc.), Byzantine Rite, Old Believers, Anglican and Roman Catholic clergy and monastics, etc., etc. You know who you are. :)   Please send us an email before ordering so that you can receive your special coupon code to use during checkout.

PLEASE NOTE:  Wholesale is only offered to Orthodox (also Anglican, Catholic, Coptic, etc.) Christian retail businesses, churches, monasteries and church bookstores or other Church sponsored missionary organizations.  No other retail outlets will be accepted as resellers.  Please include your Tax ID number when you inquire.  We respectfully decline requests for private labeling and/or repackaging for resale. 

Lead Time for Wholesale Orders:  Wholesale orders require some lead time, especially on incense products and Byzantine parfum elixirs which require time to "cure".  We will advise you at the time of your order, but most orders can accomplished within 2 weeks. 

Returns, Refunds, Exchanges:

Returns are graciously accepted with 7 days of the completion of the transaction and your receipt of the order.  Valid reasons for return and refund are:  Damaged goods or wrong item according to the packing slip.  Exchanges will always be honored, if the customer will simply return the item at their expense.  Exchanges may be made for equal value only.    We work very hard to ensure your happiness with our goods, and if we are at fault, we will never deny it, will always graciously admit it, and will strive hard to correct the problem within 24 hours of receipt of your note/letter of complaint.  We value your business and we will never knowingly let you down or disappoint you.
